Singapore Zoo

Singapore, Singapore

Spend some time with our playful Asian small-clawed otters at Rainforest Walk before heading to Gibbon Island to visit our energetic primates. Go on to witness how our gentle jumbos get cleaned up at the Elephant Bathing area and treat them to some fruit snacks during the token feeding session.

Proceed to see how our Californian sea lion shows off his water skills at the Splash Safari Show at Shaw Foundation Amphitheatre. Get seated at the wet area if you fancy getting splashed! Next, stroll around Primate Kingdom to marvel at our large collection of agile tree-dwellers.

Do not miss the Elephants at Work and Play Show  at 11.30am at the Elephants of Asia exhibit to catch our gentle giants getting down to business or see what sort of mischief they get up to.

Not too far away, you can visit our award-winning Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia exhibit that features a troop of close to 90 hamadryas baboons and other Ethiopian creatures. You will also experience the native Ethiopian lifestyle with recreations of rustic tribal villages and artifacts.

Another must visit, is the fragile forest where this walk-through recreation of a rainforest allows you to come up close with our critters such as the free-ranging mousedeers, lemurs and sloths.

Take the tram from Tram Stop 2 and alight at the final point (near the free-ranging orang utan island). Walk 5-8 minutes to the exit (main entrance) and don’t forget to bring back some attractive souvenirs from the zoo shop.
